Did Tarzan go to Heaven?
Thursday Apr 09, 2020
Thursday Apr 09, 2020
If the story of Tarzan was true he would have grown up on an island without civilization, which would mean no churches, no Bible, and no religion. We could safely say Tarzan would never have heard of Jesus. But yet the Christian faith says nobody can make it to heaven without Jesus. If this is true, then God is quite unfair because he would refuse heaven to people who have never had an opportunity to hear about Him.
Is this a good and true idea? How does the Christian Scriptures respond to this? In this episode I deal with these questions and also answer the question about what happened to those who lived before Jesus came into the world, they also didn't have access to Jesus right?
Although the Tarzan scenario sounds quite unlikely, do not be too quickly convinced. In this podcast I briefly share the situation of the North Sentinal Island people who are the most uncontacted people in the world. Join me as I explore this very important question that is very relevant in the arena of faith, even for us in the West.

The Best Way to Survive Suffering
Friday Apr 03, 2020
Friday Apr 03, 2020
Everyone does at some point in their lives go through suffering. It could be the anguish of a loved one dying, being diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, battling with the effects of poverty...or for some sitting in lockdown due to the corona virus (lol).
Suffering forms a part of life that is unavoidable. So I think it is a good idea to figure out how to endure it. That is what this episode is about. To save you from reading a whole book (one that sold 9 million copies by the way), I will briefly summarize for you what Viktor Frankl says on this topic in his book "Man's Search for Meaning".
Why listen to what he says? Because he was one of the only survivors of Nazzi Germany's concentration camps in Poland. And...he gives powerful insight into what the difference was between those who made it through the concentration camps and those who didn't.

To Taste, Take a Bite
Thursday Mar 26, 2020
Thursday Mar 26, 2020
In this episode I share the encounter with an elderly man that is transitioning from atheist to Christian. It is a discussion that covers some of the essential struggles many people have in coming to a point of believing in God.
Some of these struggles include questions about the reality of God, the rationality of faith in the Christian God, the nature of God in "sending people to hell" and also having a personal experience with God.
The big question I answer here is this: How can I get to a point where I actually first-hand experience God? In this podcast I suggest that there is just one way to get there. If you want to know what a chocolate cake tastes like, there is only one way to find out, take a bite.

One Afternoon with a Castrated man that changed a Nation
Wednesday Mar 18, 2020
Wednesday Mar 18, 2020
In this week's episode I briefly touch on one of the biggest objections to the existence of God. It revolves around the following idea: If you were born in a Muslim country, you probably would have been one. This statement seems to say that religion is culturally conditioned and is therefore man-made.
This is a big debate with lots to say, too many things to say in this show, so the primary focus of this episode is to focus on a recent objection I received from some African individuals who say they won't accept Christianity because it is a white man's religion and it was brought to Africa by the West.
To address this issue I will refer to a peculiar story of a castrated man who was the first man ever to bring the message of Jesus into Africa. Was Christianity first a white man's religion, or first a black man's religion? Stay tuned to find out.

The Jesus Outside The Bible
Friday Mar 06, 2020
Friday Mar 06, 2020
Sometimes bold sports or political personalities will openly confess the name of Jesus Christ in reference to their loyalties and success. It is a very bold thing to say "Jesus is my Lord" in the presence of great crowds of people. Why is this the case?
Well, because many people do not believe in Jesus Christ, many people do not believe he really existed. Many atheists view the idea of Jesus on the same level as fairies, snow white or the big bad wolf. Many people believe Jesus is a made-up story. So when you mention the name of Jesus, they sneer at you and think you are delusional.
Many people think Jesus is only mentioned in the Bible, therefore it is a biased piece of writing of people who believed in the same "fairy tale idea of Jesus". Well, in this podcast I reveal many of the ancient writings dating back to the time of Jesus wherein the historicity of Jesus is clearly, factually and historically verified.
Indeed, history reveals Jesus was a real living historical person.

Can Fish Speak?
Friday Feb 28, 2020
Friday Feb 28, 2020
In this episode I show how an idea aimed against the existence of God has strengthened my faith in God.
Richard Dawkins in his book "Outgrowing God" seeks to show that if there was a designer of the creation, he was not a very good designer. He shows that the reason why there are flaws in many natural phenomena is because of the process of evolution. In this way he shows no "God" could have designed what we see.
One of his examples is the recurrent laryngeal nerve in humans that takes a detour around the heart instead of going straight to the voice box. He credits this "bad design" to our "evolution from fish".
Is there more to this? Could this not be amazing design? How could Jesus have referred to the relationship between the voice and the heart more than 100 years before the role of the laryngeal nerve was discovered?
