"Speaking in Tongues" is a common phenomenon in most Pentecostal churches today. Is this the same as Biblical speaking in tongues? And if not, what is it then?
Why do people from other religions and cults also speak in tongues? Do all "saved" people have to speak in tongues? These and more such questions are dealt with in this podcast.

Would you say that the gift of prophesy is relevant today? If yes, then my question is why would that exclude the gift of tongues? Surely if one gift is relevant than the other should also be.

Its not meant for church gatherings, very true, but to edify myself when speaking to my Father in heaven. 🙏

Perhaps the experiences were isolated. Perhaps not contradictory at all. I do believe that many pentecostal churches are corupt and cults. However Holy spirit moves in humilty.
